The project, for Packaging Design, was to rebrand and create new packaging for the Energizer brand. Based the colors, style, and concepts on the target consumer as well as designed the packaging for both the flashlights and batteries keeping in mind not only how it would look on the store shelf, but also the ease and efficiency for the consumer to open the package as well as store it. Logo is based on the company quote, that they make "The world's longest lasting battery." Packaging is based on the battery symbol icon on a cell phone; a matchbox design. Credit Blake Tsutsui | https://www.behance.net/blaketsutsui on the idea of the cell phone battery icon in the logo concept stages. Became a great element to build on and incorporate in the brand identity. Ads based on relative symbols and common devices that still use batteries.
